The Barbar ECO8000 eco-friendly blow dryer is the only dryer on the market equipped with an eco-friendly ceramic heating element. All other dryers are equipped with coil heating elements, even those that use ceramic technology, which means a coil heating element that has been coated with ceramic. Ceramic technology, however, does not make an eco-friendly dryer. The two main differences between ceramic and coil heating elements are the EMF emission and electricity output. EMF is radiation, and it's measured in milligauss. Standard dryers equipped with coil heating elements emit over 200 mG of EMF. The ECO8000 emits 4.1 mG of EMF. A staggering difference. And to make a comparison: a microwave emits over 200 mG of EMF. So a standard dryer with a coil heating element emits as much radiation as a microwave. A standard dryer equipped with a coil heating element wastes electricity/energy because it doesn't efficiently use it. And wasted electricity/energy turns into radiation. The ECO8000 saves electricity/energy because the ceramic heating element efficiently uses it. If no electricity/energy is wasted or burned, there's little to no radiation emission. The ECO8000 blows clean heat, which is heat without radiation.
